Moving swiftly past the Windows Phone years, and ever since Microsoft bought Nokia, we have heard rumors that Nokia would introduce mobile devices running Android sooner. However, the N1 is not quite the Nokia we know, as it is a tablet that Nokia has licensed their name to rather than made themselves.
“If and when we find a world-class partner who can take on those responsibilities, we would work closely with them to guide the design and technology differentiation as we did with the Nokia N1 android tablet,” a spokesman for Nokia said.
